This forum is hosted on an off-site server on behalf of the Western Australian Planning Commission to provide users of the Residential Design Codes of Western Australia (R-Codes) with an informal forum to discuss issues arising from the practical implementation of the R-Codes. The views expressed on the forum are not presented as the official position of the WAPC.
The WAPC monitors the forum to ensure it is used properly and persons found misusing the forum will be removed. The forum is not to be used for advertising of any kind. Commercial announcements are not appropriate for the forum, although people who offer services or products may engage in forum discussions. It is the responsibility of authors to ensure they do not post material to the forum where such action would constitute an unlawful act or otherwise be offensive, derogatory, false, misleading or deceptive.
The WAPC does not monitor the accuracy of the information contained on the forum or filter out views it considers inaccurate. The views expressed on the forum are those of the respective authors and are not presented as the official position of any organisation or body to which an author may belong unless otherwise indicated. The WAPC disclaims responsibility for the accuracy of the views expressed on the forum and does not accept any liability for any loss a person may suffer as a result of relying upon information contained on the forum.

The WAPC will periodically consider the issues that emerge from the forum, and will formally publish its official position on the proper interpretation of the R-Codes. In no circumstances will the WAPC publish its official position on this forum.
