Model Subdivision Conditions are an essential tool used by the WAPC and referral agencies to ensure adherence to planning legislation and policies.
Non-standard conditions are discouraged, however, if a non-standard condition is recommended additional information will need to be provided to justify the condition. The Condition will need to be assessed for consistency for the validity test for conditions.
To ensure that the Model Subdivision Conditions is robust amendments may be undertaken.
The Model Subdivision Conditions were amended in May 2016 to incorporate changes to Part 7 Fire and emergency conditions in order to support the recent introduction of State Planning Policy 3.7: Planning in Bushfire Prone Areas.
