Upgrades are being made to the Planning Online portal throughout December to February 2026 to enhance its functionality when lodging or referring development applications.
Initially, the upgrades will be for lodging applications related to Region Schemes, Improvement Schemes and the Swan Valley Scheme. In the new year, enhancements will be made for the referral of applications for Development Assessment Panels, and for Significant Development applications.
The portal will be offline between 9am and 1pm on Saturday 13 December. There will be minimal disruption to users and support guides will be updated to reflect this. Users should seek support from [email protected] if they do require assistance.
Since being launched in March 2024, the Planning Online portal has handled more than 12,000 lodgements for planning applications associated with sub divisions and development.
