Present to a DAP meeting

How to make a deputation to a DAP meeting.

Involvement of all interested parties is a key component of good planning decision-making. This direct involvement assists the DAP members to understand the details of a proposal, the local context, and how a proposal may impact (positively or negatively) on an area.

When an application is scheduled for an upcoming DAP meeting, the local government is required to advise each person who made a written submission during the public notification of a development application of the details of that meeting.

An applicant or an interested person may request to make a deputation to a DAP meeting. The Presiding Member will consider these requests and may invite those people to make a deputation or submission to the meeting.
